Two Wheel Oklahoma Returns to TV

I’m happy to report Oklahoma’s only motorcycle-related-documentary-style-television-travel show will return to viewers’ living rooms tomorrow evening. Two Wheel Oklahoma will be broadcast on Cox Cable three times a week beginning August 31st at 8:30 p.m.

In case you’re not familiar I’ve included a link to our demo reel below.

After a long hiatus we were finally offered a spot on Channel 3, aka the Cox Channel. This is where you typically see local content- including area sports events. Viewers in Oklahoma City and Tulsa can tune in Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. or Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. or Sundays at 9:30 a.m. The show will also be available to Cox subscribers via pay-per-view.

Here’s a handsome poster to help you remember- or share it with friends and colleagues!

Unfortunately this isn’t available to everyone in Oklahoma (you have to subscribe to Cox cable to watch the show) but it is available in the Tulsa and OKC metro areas. So it’s a positive step for the project overall. The technical requirements are less rigorous for cable and commercial television allows us to offer promotional spots that would be impossible to air on public TV (that was a subtle plug just in case any potential advertisers might be reading this).

Brad and I are working on new shows, along with a follow-up that would use this same concept but expand it to scenic highways and backroads all over the U.S. Are hope is that would appeal to a larger audience and eventually land us a spot on a nationwide network or cable outlet. Two Wheel America anyone?

Hopefully that’s an announcement I can write in the not-so-distant future.
